We often express to our new owners that there are dozens of ways to achieve the same goal when it comes to training. Finding what works best for you and sticking to it, is most important. We encourage you to find many sources and use them often. Your Veterinarian is one of the top resources to plug in to. They may know a trainer that is tried and proven. Their staff might have a trick or two up their sleeves you would have never thought of. Ask your neighbor, your puppy breeder, and your obedience class instructor. Everyone may give you a different answer, and one of them just might be the trick that works best for you and your dog. Stop by your local bookstore and pick out a few books. Sit down with them side by side and compare notes.
